Support for disabled people in Ukraine
For people with physical limitations, the day often begins and ends with their dependence on others. Even getting up, washing, dressing, or eating can become a challenge. And yet, it is true: if God gives life, then that life, too, is precious.
Many affected individuals are not only physically limited, but also burdened emotionally and mentally. They often live without prospects, and the daily struggle for survival can plunge them into deep depression. Many of them suffer from inner conflicts or anxieties that even rob them of the joy of everyday life.
Our commitment to these people goes far beyond alleviating physical ailments. Of course, we help with medication, hygiene products, and other daily necessities. But our most important goal is to encourage them to find joy and comfort in God. We want to unleash the gifts and talents that God has richly given them and help them use them. Step by step, they should learn to allow themselves to be used and to become instruments in God's hand.
This service is not a one-off event. People with disabilities need our support daily. That is why we pray constantly and seek ways to ensure they do not feel forgotten, but rather—despite their difficult circumstances—can lead fulfilling and meaningful lives. For in God's eyes, there are no "lesser" lives: each one is a unique masterpiece of His love.
