Manipur: New school opening
The school in Manipur was officially reopened on February 5, 2025. The building is currently undergoing renovations. Groups from various communities have traveled to Manipur in the past and will continue to do so in the future to support the renovation work. It is striking that very few young people live in the villages.
Due to a lack of educational opportunities, many children and young people move to the cities to study and build a life for themselves. This poses a great spiritual danger, as many of them turn away from the faith. Without a new generation of believers, the congregations risk decline and degenerating into mere traditions.
This is precisely where the school project in Manipur comes in. Through the school, approximately 100 children from the surrounding villages receive an education without having to leave their parents. The Christian focus is particularly important: the children are to be introduced to the living God of the Bible. The goal is for them to come to know and accept Jesus as their personal Savior. Donations are still needed to cover the costs of this valuable work.

Bulgaria: Shoebox campaign
In December 2024, a group of young people, youth group members, and ministers from the Speyer congregation traveled to Bulgaria to distribute Christmas packages. After arriving in Sofia, the team split into three groups to reach as many locations as possible. The first group traveled to Elena , a village where there was no church or regular meetings.
A Ukrainian couple, Brother Sergei and his wife, followed God's call and moved to this region to serve among the Roma living there. The group packed and distributed food parcels, thus practicing Christian charity in a tangible way. Each distribution was accompanied by an invitation to the evening service. The following day, a children's service was held, during which, in addition to crafts and gift distribution, the children were taught about the meaning of Jesus' blood and his cleansing power.
The second team visited the community in Belo Pole and brought great joy to the children with Christmas packages. In addition to the community, kindergartens and schools in the surrounding area were also surprised with gifts. Furthermore, needy families received food packages as practical assistance. The third team was active in the Krivodol region.
In addition to distributing Christmas packages to needy children, food parcels were also given to families in need. Furthermore, the group supported the local community, visited schools, and sang in homes for people with special needs.

During a children's church service, the children were taught about the purifying power of Jesus' blood.
