Thanks to the donations received, we can continue to support needy families, orphans and local pastors in Muslim-majority countries with food parcels.
The following testimony of a young person, which a pastor provided to us, shows how valuable and important the work of pastors is, since most people make the decision that shapes their future life path during their youth.
A Muslim finds Jesus
“My name is Hamza*, I am 20 years old and come from a Sunni Muslim family. As a child, I regularly attended church services with the children who were cared for by the church. My family had to move, so contact was lost and I could no longer attend church. I became a devout Muslim who fasted, prayed, and attended the mosque daily.”
Two years ago, when I began reading Islamic books to learn more about Islam, I became aware of a number of inhumane teachings. I realized that my religion compels and prescribes that I fight and hate others, especially Christians. I was deeply shocked because I remembered the love and mercy I had experienced as a child. I also remembered that the church staff had given each child their own copy of the Bible.
So I quickly searched through my belongings and found the Bible. I began to read it and was shocked because the teachings of Christ were completely different from those of Muhammad. I began to ask God to guide me to the truth. The strange thing was that every day in my dreams I saw the church I had attended as a child. God asked me to return there. Four months ago, I decided to secretly go to that church, introduced myself to the pastors, and they warmly welcomed me. They helped me take this crucial step in my life. I turned away from Islam and became a committed Christian.
My father knew I no longer prayed as a Muslim and no longer attended the mosque, so he beat me and threatened me. When, in his anger, he forced me to read the Quran, I told him I was no longer a Muslim. He ran into the kitchen, grabbed a knife, and tried to kill me, but my mother and brothers rushed to my aid. That's my story.
Now I am a child of God and pray to be baptized soon. (*Name changed)
Current prayer request
A Bible seminar is planned for our brothers from the Arab countries, which will be led by our brothers. The cost is approximately €35,000. Anyone with a burning heart and the means to participate—whether through prayer or financial support—is warmly invited to help. May the Lord richly reward everyone!
