Anne van der Bijl, known as Brother Andrew, began his missionary work in 1955. The founder of the organization "Open Doors" visited various communist-ruled countries behind the Iron Curtain, where Christians were persecuted. For many years, he provided people there with Bibles and spiritual literature, earning him the nickname "God's Smuggler." To this day, Brother Andrew travels regularly, continues to have extraordinary experiences with God, and gives other Christians surprising inspiration for their lives.

The book "Whatever You Do, Don't Go to Nineveh!" is a special devotional book that tells the story of Jonah verse by verse in 40 sections. The story of Jonah and the great fish is probably one of the best-known stories of the Old Testament, especially among children. But the book is also very exciting for us adults, because it gives the story a completely new perspective.
In this devotional book, Brother Andrew uses the story of Jonah to illustrate how important it is for us as believing Christians to follow God's call. He vividly describes the paths and detours Jonah took and the challenges the rebellious prophet faced.
This book was a great enrichment for me because I was able to look at this well-known story from a completely new perspective.
