Greetings, dear brothers and sisters, in the love of our God Jesus Christ!
With deep gratitude in our hearts, we would like to express our thanks to the Stephanus Mission and all its brothers and sisters for their donations and for their participation in the needs of the large families of the Medvedowskaja village community!
In 2006, during an evangelistic outreach in the village, the Holy Spirit spoke to our servant Sergei Ivanovich Prokopov, instructing him to organize a gathering of saints there. Our community was born in 2009. With God's help, we built a prayer house, and in 2021, the construction of the House of Mercy was completed. Today, single sisters who, for various reasons, are without the support of their relatives, live there on a regular basis.
Furthermore, the church has a rehabilitation center where people with various addictions have the opportunity to encounter God and transform their lives. And for those who have already found a firm footing, are spiritually strengthened, and have entered into a covenant with God, there is an adjustment ministry within the church where brothers live, support one another, work, and serve.
A prison chaplaincy was organized: Our brothers never miss an opportunity to visit the men's and women's prisons, where thousands have already heard the Word of God and eagerly await the brothers' arrival each time. The Lord also placed it on the brothers' hearts to establish a social project, "The Christmas Gift," for those who have forsaken God and consequently experienced pain. And for twelve years now, the children of convicted fathers and mothers have received sweets, toys, and a children's Bible at Christmas on behalf of their parents. This year, the administration has approved the implementation of this project in all prisons within the Krasnodar Territory, which comprises more than ten zones.
The community always places special emphasis on providing any possible assistance to families with children. If someone decides to build a house, the community members try to help with the construction together. Financial support is provided for organizing Christian children's camps, Christmas gifts, and much more.
Thanks to our Lord and your self-sacrificing hearts, 13 families have now received a blessing for their children.
This help was more useful than ever, because it is very difficult to prepare children for school and to buy the essentials for each child without disadvantaging anyone.
A large family means there's always hardship. It seems like one money problem is solved, and then another one needs to be solved.
There are families with six or eight children who are experiencing severe financial hardship. The father works alone, while the mother is busy raising the children. As the number of children increases, the parents need to improve their living conditions and expand their home. But construction requires a lot of money. And, of course, in such families, it is primarily the younger children who wear the older ones' clothes or rely on humanitarian aid, even though the children would love to have a skirt, a tracksuit, or sneakers that they like.
In some large families, the children are already university students. And that means even more expenses: for travel, food, and books. Thanks to your help, the parents have now been able to enable some teenagers to buy clothes and stationery that the children could choose themselves, something that isn't always possible in large families.
August is always a very worrying month for parents. Together with the children, we pray that the Lord will provide for all our needs. And how wonderful it is for us to see how God meets his children and answers their prayers!
Please accept, on behalf of our community and all parents, our gratitude for the timely and urgently needed help. May the Lord richly reward you, support you and your families, and give you everything you need so that you never lack anything!
Thank you so much for helping us in our time of need.
