Many will likely already be familiar with this classic children's Bible by Anne de Vries – but certainly not everyone. That's why it's worth recommending. This children's Bible is a storybook. Anne de Vries tells the stories in an exciting, lively, and detailed way, making you feel like you're right there in the middle of the action. And this isn't just true for the well-known biblical stories. Lesser-known texts, such as the lives and works of the prophets Isaiah and Jeremiah, are also presented in a child-friendly manner. Unusually beautiful linocut illustrations underscore the world's most important message.
This large storybook of biblical stories is ideal for reading aloud during evening devotions or children's church. But it's not limited to those occasions. Thanks to the comfortably large print and vivid language, children will surely love reading it independently. Even adults will be captivated by the author's unique storytelling style. A companion audiobook is also available and highly recommended. The biblical stories are read clearly and word for word, accompanied by beautiful music. This makes experiencing the stories even more engaging and interesting.
