Dear brothers and sisters, we greet you most warmly and wish you the peace of God!
This letter is from the family of Brother Adam Khomich, deacon of the Holy Trinity parish in Rivne, Ukraine. God blessed my wife Irina and me and gave us 11 children. But we suffered greatly when our 20-year-old son Yura was diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer called Hodgkin's lymphoma, also known as lymph node cancer. After consulting with experts in the disease, we had no choice but to bring him to Germany for treatment. But we needed a large sum of money for this, which we did not have.
We endured difficult trials; Yura had a high fever every day, and his illness worsened, but the financial problem remained unresolved. Finally, we were able to borrow a large sum of money and travel to Germany for treatment. Upon arrival, we encountered further difficulties regarding accommodation and an interpreter. Humanly speaking, there seemed to be no way out of this situation. I feared I wouldn't be able to endure this ordeal with dignity and without complaint. I prayed to the Lord and said, "Lord, you have shown great care for the sick. Please grant me a little of that as well and help me, as a father, with an interpreter, accommodation, and the repayment of the large debts I cannot afford." The Lord answered my prayer, and we found accommodation and an interpreter!

Before our departure for Germany, a sister called us and said that God had revealed the extent of our debts to her in a dream and that we would receive help in Germany. I contacted the Stephanus Mission and explained our debt problem, whereupon I received confirmation that we could be helped.
Dear brothers and sisters, I never expected so much good to be done for our family. Galatians 6:2 says that we should bear one another's burdens. Yet you have carried our entire burden and covered our debts. I am truly grateful to God for you. May God bless you and your children, protect you from difficulties, and bless you in every way possible, rewarding your kindness! We bless you all in the name of the Lord!
With deep gratitude
