Stories from the Word of God (not only) for children
The children's Bible I'd like to introduce here is written in the style of a devotional book and consists of two volumes – the Old Testament and the New Testament. With a total of 366 biblical stories, it accompanies children throughout the year. Each story is illustrated with colorful pictures. Questions at the end of each chapter provide excellent support for sparking discussion after the devotion or simply for further reflection. Maps are also included to help children better understand individual actions and events. The stories are detailed and comprehensive, yet written in a way that is appropriate for children.
Daily devotions with my children are very important to me. It's crucial that they understand what was read aloud. This children's Bible makes that possible. Each story concludes with three questions that help reinforce what was heard and better retain the biblical truths.
What I particularly like about this children's Bible is how faithfully it's written to the Bible. No important detail is omitted from the stories. And whenever a story ends, the children are already looking forward to the questions. This further encourages them to listen very carefully.
