On September 27, 2025, the Samaritan Aid Ministries mission conference took place in Wornawon, Canada, with numerous participants both in person and online. The guiding verse from Mark 16:15 – “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature” – shaped the entire event.

At the opening ceremony, Bishop Daniel Bullert spoke about the universal calling of every Christian to mission – not only in distant lands, but also in their immediate surroundings. Drawing on personal experiences, he illustrated how God works through simple encounters. His address was characterized by biblical insights and a passionate call to devotion.

The opening ceremony was characterized by gratitude and spiritual encouragement. Presentations highlighted mission as a personal calling, a way of life, and an expression of practical charity. Personal accounts from various countries illustrated how aid is implemented in concrete terms – through education, medical care, support services, and spiritual guidance.

Particularly moving were the testimonies from projects with children and families in challenging life situations. The speakers called for dedication, prayer, and active participation. Communication, listening, and encounters were emphasized as the keys to a lived mission.

Brother Viktor Folz, presiding bishop of the Society in Germany, spoke about the importance of listening in mission work. He emphasized that true mission begins with listening—to God, to people, and to their needs. Using biblical examples, he showed how listening is the key to relationship, healing, and spiritual depth. He further recalled that the Stephanus Mission had made a crucial contribution to unity in the past and wished the same for the Canadian mission.

The conference conveyed a clear message: Every Christian is part of God's worldwide mission – and can make a difference through love, courage, and willingness.

The second part of the conference focused on personal calling, church responsibility, and global mission. The presentations were spiritually profound and practical, demonstrating that every Christian—regardless of age or background—is called to mission. Everyday testimonies illustrated how small steps can have a big impact.

The speakers emphasized God's faithfulness and the central role of the church as an active part of world mission. The Africa projects presented focused on education, medical aid, and sustainable development. The younger generation, in particular, was encouraged not to be led by external influences, but to follow God's call.
