In the village of Alexandro-Kalinovo in the Donetsk region, 32-year-old Artyom Vorobyev lives with his parents in a small house. Artyom has a mobility impairment and depends on our help.

When Artyom was 13 years old, he suffered a serious knee injury. He received extensive treatment at the local hospital. Unfortunately, this treatment was unsuccessful. After two years, Artyom underwent another operation. This operation was also unsuccessful. In fact, the situation worsened – cartilaginous growths developed on his knee joint.

Artyom had to take numerous medications, many of which caused side effects. Over time, his knee joint became increasingly deformed. He urgently needed surgery, but there was a lack of funds and access to specialists. Then war broke out in Donetsk, and survival became the only priority. Artyom's condition deteriorated further.

When some brothers from Germany were visiting the Donetsk region of Ukraine, the leading members of the local congregation asked them for help. The congregation cares for its members and had already collected money for Artyom. Unfortunately, the people of this region are so poor that the funds raised were only enough for an examination. His knee joint is now completely destroyed, and therefore only a joint transplant can help. Such an operation can be performed in Kharkiv. Unfortunately, bone tissue deteriorates very quickly. The operation should therefore be performed as soon as possible. The brothers of the local congregation have agreed to accompany Artyom to the hospital and help with the registration process.

All that's missing are willing sponsors to help the young man finance his urgently needed operation. The collected funds will be given to the local community's caretaker, who will then forward them to the hospital to pay for the surgery.
