Dear friends of the mission,
Today we would like to draw your attention to our project "Help in Special Circumstances." Recently, we have been receiving numerous personal pleas for help from people in difficult circumstances who urgently need assistance. As a result, this project is often operating at a significant financial cost.
Often, these calls for help are for urgent health needs from people who don't have time for targeted fundraising because doing so would cause them serious problems or even health damage. This is also why we want to raise awareness of this project. In many countries, people lack a social healthcare system and therefore have to pay for their own treatment costs when they become ill.
People who already have no savings because they are living on the edge are completely thrown off course by unexpected blows of fate. They despair in their distress because they have no help and often don't even know our Lord, the Savior of souls. Jesus did not simply pass such people by and is thus an example for us.
Following this example, we too want to stand by our neighbors in their great need and help them. We can do this, for example, by covering the treatment costs of cancer patients, providing aids for disabled children, or supplying medical equipment for those requiring care. Anyone who has a heart for the plight of such people is welcome to send their donation with the reference "Project No. 100: Help in Special Circumstances." May Jesus richly reward you.
“And the King will answer them, saying, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’” (Matthew 25:40).

How help could be provided so far:
Two years ago, we urgently appealed for your prayer support and financial assistance in our mission newsletter! Vlad Miron, the seven-year-old son of a church elder from Chisinau, Moldova, had been diagnosed with a brain tumor.
A tumor resection has already been performed, revealing that he has a very rare stage IV tumor, which occurs in only 2% of all cases and is therefore very difficult to treat. He urgently needs specialized, expensive radiation therapy. Trusting in God, we thank you for any support. (Photo of child in hospital)
[Update: Vlad could not be helped. He passed away shortly after the article was published. Donations received will be used for other urgent emergencies.]
The Khomich family from the Rovno region of Ukraine faced a devastating blow in 2020. Their son Jura was suddenly diagnosed with lymphoma. It was a devastating setback for the father, Adam Khomich, who has suffered from diabetes for about ten years and requires constant insulin injections. With 11 children, including two university students and four school children, this financial burden was simply too much to bear. The father works alongside his sons on a construction site and never gets a break. Jura is a trained electrician and is now unable to work. Jura's constant visits to doctors and hospitals, examinations, and treatments are taking a heavy toll on the family's energy and finances.
The Bykony family from the city of Nakhodka in Russia has two children named Tanya and Timothy. When Tanya turned 12, their long-awaited son Timothy was finally born. Unfortunately, Timothy has a congenital disability. Timothy is a very bright and curious child. The family is supported solely by the father, as the mother has to care for their disabled son. They have already undergone two operations in Moscow, and several more surgeries are needed, for which they require financial assistance.
