The project for widowers, widows, and orphans in Ukraine supports people in need who have lost a partner or their parents. Those affected receive food and financial assistance, for which they are very grateful to God, as well as to all sponsors and friends.
The resources of our widowed brothers and sisters are far from sufficient for their proper care. Most of them have children they must now provide for alone. Therefore, your support gives them new courage, hope, and joy, and inspires them to praise God and help others.
To express their gratitude, widows, widowers, and orphans from the Kyiv region gathered for a communal meal and created a thank-you video in which each person personally expressed their gratitude for the support they received in the form of food, financial assistance, and prayers. The food they receive represents a festive meal for them, as they usually cannot afford such food with their own income.
We also received a moving thank-you letter from the widows of Krivoy Rog, which we would like to share with you.

Dear brothers and sisters,
On behalf of all our widowed sisters and brothers, I would like to thank you for your work and for your care for us.
For many years, we have had the wonderful opportunity to gather with widows and widowers for worship. Here we experience preachers who address us and our needs, offering warm and caring words and teachings. They also share their testimonies and stories from their Christian lives with us.
Each of us has our own story, our own difficulties and worries, our own questions and needs, but we all share the same joy and the same comfort – namely the love and care of our Lord Jesus Christ.
The loneliness of earthly life is easier to bear thanks to your support and attention through gifts.
During these heartfelt encounters, we receive gifts from the hands of God's servants, gifts we then bring home to our children. Eventually, we are even given a ride home because we simply cannot carry all the gifts ourselves.
As a rule, all widows receive a pension from the state, but it is so small that any help is very valuable to us.
We don't know the people who help us personally, but we clearly sense that they care about our material well-being. We cannot repay them in this life, but I am certain that our prayers for them and their needs (the Lord knows them) are gathered at the feet of our Lord Jesus Christ, and He will reward them.
We thank you from the bottom of our hearts, we pray for you and thank God constantly for your work.

The joy over the packages is immense, as many food items are simply too expensive.
“Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ!” (Gal 6:2) .
