Warren W. Wiersbe's book, "Devil's Strategies," vividly illustrates the strategies of the adversary and how he carries out his attacks. Using four examples from the Old Testament, the author demonstrates how the devil, as a seducer and destroyer, as a constant and merciless accuser before God, attempts to separate Christians from God, and how he continues to employ these strategies against us today.

But the book doesn't just describe the devil's characteristics and strategies; it also explains how we can most effectively protect ourselves against and fight back from his cunning attacks. The individual sections are supported by Bible verses, which contributes to a better understanding. Readers can also easily relate to the everyday examples.

Reading this book has made it even clearer to me how fundamentally important it is to immerse ourselves in the Word of God, to seek and cultivate fellowship with God. It is simply so profound that we can accept the grace and know that Jesus has already fully paid for our sins and intercedes for us as our advocate against the accusations of the devil.

Because of the understandable language and the clear presentation of the subject matter, I can recommend the book for both individual study and for small groups.
