Nikolaus Wall takes over as chairman.

Nikolaus Wall was born on January 2, 1963, in Makinsk, Kazakhstan, into a family of eight children. In 1972, his parents decided to move to Tokmak, a town in Kyrgyzstan. As a child, he decided to follow Jesus and was sealed with the Holy Spirit shortly thereafter. At the age of 18, he entered into a covenant with God through water baptism. Nikolaus always loved to sing and play music and was already directing a choir at the age of 21. After his military service, he completed an apprenticeship as a welder.

On May 2, 1985, he married Helene Müller. The couple had 11 children. In 1989, the family moved to Germany. Nikolaus first served in the parish of Ramstein, where he was ordained a deacon in June 1997 and a pastor in January 2015.

Favorite Bible passage :
“So it is with faith: if it does not have works, it is dead in itself” (James 2:17).

Work objective :
It is a privilege for me, thanks to God, to be able to participate in the aid organization "Stephanus". Since I myself come from Kyrgyzstan, the plight of people in poor countries is very close to my heart.

Almost 20 years ago, Nikolaus felt God's call to go into missionary work. On August 30, 2002, he was elected second chairman of the aid organization "Stephanus." Accepting the election was a significant decision in his life, as his family also needed him greatly. For many years, it wasn't easy to commute over 100 km daily between his family and his workplace in Speyer. But the Lord's blessing was upon him, evident in his diverse talents for missionary service.

He was initially responsible for the cash register and, after retraining, eventually managed the entire accounting. After some time, he also readily took over the administration of the aid organization, which had previously been handled on a rotating basis by volunteers. Nikolaus Wall often had the opportunity to demonstrate his organizational talent, for example, in managing invitations for foreign guests or in organizing and preparing the annual mission conference.

His life experience as a father of 11 children, his service as pastor of the Ramstein parish, and his 18 years of experience in the management of Mission Stephanus, as well as his consistently open, honest, and humble nature, will continue to be a blessing to many people under God's wonderful blessing.

For Nikolaus Wall, it is a privilege to be able to work for God in the aid organization "Stephanus." Since he himself comes from Kyrgyzstan, the plight of people in poor countries is very close to his heart. This is also evident in his favorite Bible passage from James: " So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead " (James 2:17).

Therefore, we are very pleased about the election of Nikolaus Walls as the first chairman of the Stephanus aid organization, hope and trust in further good cooperation and wish God's rich blessing in the service for the Lord.
