On September 7, 2024, a general meeting of the Uganda project's mission members took place in Speyer. This event saw a significant change in the project leadership. After eight years as project manager, Albert Hiller stepped down due to age. Since taking over the project, he has consistently demonstrated a strong commitment to fostering teamwork. His leadership style was inclusive, ensuring that every team member was involved and that decisions were made collaboratively. Furthermore, Albert played a crucial role in the project's vocational aspects. He was instrumental in motivating people to participate in practical skills training, particularly in crafts, which he considers essential for a holistic education. This work has shaped his life, and he wishes to remain involved with the project and continue to contribute actively.

The Uganda Council, in consultation with the Brotherhood, appointed Florian Folz as the new chairman. He possesses extensive experience with the Uganda project, gained through his many years as a member of the Project Council. The change came at a crucial time, as the Project Council had decided to specifically cultivate young talent to ensure its continued success.

We are grateful to God for the abundant blessings and to Albert Hiller for his energetic commitment, and we wish Florian Folz God's support and the necessary wisdom for all challenges in his new role as project manager.
